Due to the customizable nature of our builds and our ability to create unique furniture solutions, no two projects are ever the same. Here’s a look into how we go about creating our custom woodwork.

01 / planning process

Let’s get to know each other.

One of our friendly and knowledgeable sales associates will sit down with you and discuss in detail what you want our talented craftsmen to create. Our process emphasizes friendly collaboration and allows us to truly understand exactly what you want your renovation or new build to feature. It is essential that we clearly understand your needs so that we work on your project with the utmost confidence. Our in-house design team is available to suggest materials and ideas that match perfectly with your home and personal style. Once you and our team are clearly aligned, Hiebert Cabinets will get the planning of your vision underway.

02 / planning process

A plan for perfection

After our initial meeting, we will create a detailed, accurate quote. This quote will represent your customized project, and will be what you pay upon completion, unless you decide to add or remove elements. A second appointment will be set up to review the quote and answer any questions you may have. Once all details have been ironed out and agreed upon, we’ll provide you with a tentative instalment date and begin designing your project.

03 / BUILDING process

Creating your interior

As soon as we have an agreed upon understanding of your project, our team will get to work on it immediately, handling it with the care and the attention to detail it deserves. We will start bringing your vision to life using a top-grade design software called Cabinet Vision. This program creates high quality 3D renderings which work in unison with our state of the art Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine. Our CNC machine cuts in millimeters to within three decimal places, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and that measurements and style are precisely what you had in mind. The machine routers hard-core melamine, composed of real pieces of hardwood, to create the sturdiest cabinets possible.

04 / BUILDING process

Putting it all together

Our finishing department and attention to detail is what truly sets us apart. Our colour matching is second to none; a claim we proudly stand behind. We also use only quality materials such as hardcore melamine and high density MDF to ensure your dream cabinetry and woodwork easily stands the test of time. We pride ourselves on exceeding expectations and simply offering more. Our craftsmen take pride in creating the unbelievable. They can even steam the wood as to curve the wood grain, making arches for curved cabinets. These are just a few examples of how Hiebert's goes above and beyond on every single project we work on.

05 / ASSEMBLY PROCESS

Ensuring a quality build

Everything our craftsmen work on is delivered to the build site courtesy of our team and assembled on the spot (supply purchases not included). Once installation is complete, our team performs a thorough inspection to confirm all pieces are constructed correctly and the grain and colour flow smoothly. While every project is unique, our installs typically take 140 hours to complete from start to finish.
